Our mission is to serve the best of the wonderful local products from sea, shore and mountains. We do so by sourcing the finest produce available locally in Argyll and other areas of Scotland.

MEAT

Jackson Butchers, Oban

Jackson Butchers is a traditional craft butcher specialising in the finest Scottish lamb, beef, pork and poultry. Founded in 1932, it is part of Lochaber Larder since 2024.

Simpson Game, Newtonmore

Located in the heart of the Highlands, Simpson Game has a long tradition offering finest quality of Scottish wild venison and game birds.

Great Glen Charcuterie, Roy Bridge

A small family-run business producing a range of specialist charcuterie using only the finest Scottish venison. Based in Roy Bridge, a small village in Inverness-shire deep in the Scottish Highlands, this artisan butcher uses the wonderful produce and ingredients that can be found right on their doorstep.

FISH & SHELLFISH

Donald Watt & Son Fishmonger, Oban

Donald Watt is ideally situated next to the railway pier just a block away from the Manor House. They are officially the oldest family business in Oban and supply us daily. This can include salmon, crab claws, mussels, langoustines, lobsters, oysters, trout fillets, dover sole, haddock, halibut, monkfish and many more.

Murray Smoked Products, Ford

Located in the small village of Ford at the South End of Loch Awe, Murray’s are a long-established family run smokehouse. They take great  pride in their smoked products, for example smoked salmon, trout and mackerel which are all hand sliced to the customer’s requirements.

DAIRY AND CHEESE

Kintyre Eggs, Campbeltown

A small family farm which can sell the majority of its eggs directly to local independent shops.

Our cheese selection consists of produce from Scotland from various suppliers such as Connage Highland Dairy, Highland Fine Cheese Tain, Errington Cheese Lanarkshire and Sgriob-ruadh Dairy Farm on the Isle of Mull.

Other dairy products are proudly sourced from Graham’s, The Family Dairy founded in 1939 in Bridge of Allan, Stirlingshire.

Tiree Teas, an owner run business, are inspired by the Scottish Islands and infused with flavour and a dash
of humour! Tiree Tea stands for high quality blends with plastic free tea bags and a focus on biodegradable
packaging.
