Finding us

The Manor House is located on the south shore of Oban Harbour. Once in Oban, follow the sign to the ferries. Passing the entrance to the terminal, continue west along Gallanach Road for approximately one quarter of a mile to reach the Manor House.

Getting to Oban

By car

From Glasgow, take the A82 around the west side of Loch Lomond through Crianlarich to Tyndrum, then follow the A85 along the north side of Loch Awe to Oban. The journey takes two hours. From Edinburgh, drive through Stirling and up to Oban. For detailed driving directions from anywhere in the UK, enter the postcode PA34 4LS as your destination in your navigation system. By train

ScotRail run trains daily from Glasgow Queen Street Station to Oban on the beautiful West Highland Line. Alternatively, catch the train to Edinburgh, then change to Stirling from where it is a two-hour drive to Oban. For details, simply visit ScotRail’s website. The Oban Railway Station is a short ten-minute walk from the Manor House, and there is a taxi stand just outside the railway building.

By boat

Caledonian MacBrayne Ferries run a regular car and passenger ferry from Oban to the Isle of Mull and to several Isles of the Hebrides. For timetable information and to book ferry tickets, visit CalMac’s website. It is advisable to book tickets in advance.

By coach

Glasgow International Airport runs daily flight schedules from London, Europe and beyond. Contact your airline for flight information.
